The Challenge: High Resistance in Pumping Station Valve NetworksPumping stations—including water intake, water supply, booster, drainage, sewage, heating, water conservancy, and industrial cooling systems—are distributed nationwide in massive numbers. Various valves are installed in the inlet and outlet pipelines of these stations. However, the hydraulic resistance (head loss) of these conventional valves significantly increases energy consumption. Lowering this resistance is a critical challenge for industrial energy efficiency.
Our Solution: Redstar's Ultra-Low Resistance TechnologyAnhui Redstar Valve Co., Ltd. has introduced the Full-Bore Eccentric Semi-Ball Valve. When fully opened, it functions identically to a straight pipe segment, reducing fluid resistance virtually to zero. By integrating this semi-ball valve with an advanced hydraulic control device, we created the Hydraulically-Controlled Non-Return Eccentric Semi-Ball Valve. This innovative system preserves all essential check-valve functions while perfectly solving the problem of high flow resistance behind the pump, driving substantial energy savings for the entire facility.
